About Us
Why We Exist
Sierra Leone faces significant challenges in youth development, – limited access to diverse, innovative, collaborative and practical learning opportunities and experiences for young Sierra Leoneans. Traditional educational systems often fail to provide these experiences which young people need to thrive in today’s world. This hinders their creative expression and ability to fully explore their passions, develop critical skills, and engage meaningfully in society.
At YouthBridge, we don’t just talk about making a difference—we create spaces where young people can thrive, whatever that looks like for them. Our programs are tailored to unlock the full potential of every young person by providing guidance, mentorship, resources and peer group forums geared towards preparing them for life in whichever path ignites their passion and potential.

Our Mission
Focus Areas

Education
At YouthBridge, we help young people turn their dreams into reality through education. Whether it’s connecting students to life-changing opportunities, offering personalized support, or helping them navigate their next steps, we guide them to dream big, explore new paths, and take charge of their future with confidence and excitement!
Leadership & Civic Engagement
We believe the best leaders are those who lead with heart. That’s why we nurture bold, ethical leaders who are engaged and ready to make a difference. Whether it’s stepping up to lead a team, championing a cause, or driving change in their communities, we’re all about encouraging purpose-driven leadership.
STEM & Innovation
The future belongs to innovators, and we’re here to help young minds shape it! Our STEM & Innovation programs introduce young people to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math and are designed to inspire the next generation of tech geniuses, innovators, and creators—equipping them with skills to solve real-world problems and turn ideas into impact.
Arts & Culture
The arts are a powerful vehicle for connection and change. We celebrate creativity through programs in music, visual arts, drama, and storytelling. Whether it’s music, theater, dance, or visual arts, we celebrate creativity and culture, helping young people find their voice and share their stories with the world.
Entrepreneurship
Got an idea? Let’s bring it to life! Our Entrepreneurship programs help young people go from dreamers to doers, providing the guidance, skills, and resources to start their own sustainable businesses, create opportunities, and achieve financial independence.
Sports & Wellness
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds. Our holistic sports and wellness programs promote physical, mental and emotional health. Whether it’s through organized sports, health education or mindfulness workshops, we encourage young people to embrace active lifestyles and build resilience.
